About the Role

SachetsCo is a Sydney-based contract manufacturer operating across sachet filling, blending, product development and selected packing formats for food, beverage, wellness, sports nutrition, cosmetics and personal care. This is a practical, on-site role based in Frenchs Forest, Sydney NSW 2086. You will be working directly with the machinery that runs our production, not in a remote support or advisory capacity.

This opportunity may also suit an experienced packaging field service engineer, senior maintenance fitter, mechatronics technician or automation technician with strong hands-on packaging machinery experience.

This position also provides practical first-line support for the digital and IT systems used by the factory and office, while specialists remain responsible for major development, security and regulated work.

We are looking for a capable, hands-on engineer to own the reliability, commissioning, preventive maintenance, fault finding, technical records, operator training and continuous improvement of our packaging machinery and ancillary equipment. You will be the primary technical resource for mechanical and electrical issues on the production floor and you will be expected to take full ownership of outcomes.

Essential Experience

  • 5 or more years of hands-on experience in packaging, food, beverage, pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, cosmetics or FMCG machinery environments.
  • Installation, commissioning, breakdown response and preventive maintenance of production machinery.
  • Sachet, stick-pack, form-fill-seal or flexible-packaging machinery.
  • Auger, volumetric or weighing systems; powder filling; relevant pump and piston filling.
  • Mixers, blenders, mills, sifters, conveyors, compressors and coders.
  • Film tracking, eyemark registration, sealing jaws, heaters, thermocouples
