SachetsCo designs sachet and pouch packaging for customer brands. We can develop a new layout or adapt your existing brand artwork to the agreed packaging format. Request design on its own or alongside a separately scoped printing or filling project.
The design brief defines the pack formats, number of SKUs, brand assets, layout requirements, deliverables and agreed review rounds. Design changes, additional formats and production work are confirmed separately.
From design brief to approved artwork
- Brief and assets: describe your product, audience, pack format and design direction. We arrange an agreed channel for your logo, brand guidelines and files after the initial enquiry.
- Dieline and content: confirm the job-specific production dieline, seal and coding areas, dimensions and label content before final artwork preparation.
- Design and review: review the proposed layout, give consolidated feedback and approve the agreed artwork version.
- Print proof: where printing is included, review and approve a separate print proof before the print order proceeds. Filling and packaging trials remain separate.
You supply and verify the ingredients, allergens, nutrition information, claims, barcode information and other required label content. Packaging design and proof approval do not certify regulatory compliance or replace specialist label review.

The production dieline is specific to the approved format
There is no reliable one-size-fits-all sachet template. Web width, repeat, seals, tear features, registration marks, print method and production specifications can change the artwork file. We issue or confirm the applicable dieline after reviewing your product, target fill, packaging format and likely production route.
Custom sachet film printing
SachetsCo offers custom printed roll film for sachets and stick packs. Request film printing only for your own filling operation, or combine printed film with a separately agreed SachetsCo filling project.
Cost-effective custom film printing, with material specifications and print proofs agreed before production.
Share your pack dimensions, artwork, quantity and filling-machine requirements. We review the material structure, web width, artwork repeat, registration mark, print orientation, seal areas and coding space against the agreed specification.
Custom-print material minimums are separate from filling quantities. Film quantities, proof approval and lead times are confirmed before ordering. Use the job-specific production dieline; artwork preflight does not replace final label-claim or regulatory review.

Different products need different packaging. Share your existing material specification or tell us the performance and appearance you need. We review suitable structures and finishes against the product, pack format and intended use.
Layer structure and thickness
Layers can serve different printing, barrier, strength and sealing functions. Tell us your preferred laminate structure and total thickness in microns, if known. More layers or greater thickness do not automatically mean better quality or suitability.
Barrier and product protection
Consider moisture, oxygen and light sensitivity, product-contact compatibility and intended storage conditions. The material specification—not its colour, shine or layer count—must support the required performance.
Matte, gloss and metallic finishes
Discuss matte (matt) for a low-shine look, gloss for a shiny finish, or a metallic appearance. The available finish, print method and material combinations are confirmed for the selected film or pouch; not every finish suits every structure.
Filling, sealing and handling
Where filling is included, our focus is fill accuracy and seal integrity. Review filling-machine requirements, the sealing layer, roll format and handling or puncture requirements against the agreed specification. Film samples and print-proof approval do not replace any required product compatibility, filling or seal trials.

Samples help you assess appearance and workmanship. They do not validate your product compatibility, filled-pack seal performance or shelf life; any product-specific trials are agreed separately.
Can I request a different layer structure or material quality?
Yes. Share the structure, thickness, barrier performance and finish you want, or describe what the packaging needs to do. We review alternatives for the project and confirm suitability and availability before quoting the final specification.
Is a metallic finish the same as a foil barrier?
No. Metallic print effects, metallised plastic film and aluminium-foil laminates are different constructions. A metallic look does not establish a particular barrier level. Tell us whether you need a visual effect, product protection, or both; the exact structure, availability and supporting performance data must be confirmed.
How is material quality compared?
Where specified, compare oxygen transmission rate (OTR) and water vapour transmission rate (WVTR) using the test method, units, temperature, relative humidity and exact material specification. Supplier documentation, agreed acceptance criteria and any required product, sealing or packing trials are reviewed before the final specification is approved. A film result alone does not establish whole-pack performance or shelf life.
Shelf-life, food-contact and recyclability claims require evidence for the exact pack and intended use. No general certification or performance guarantee is implied.

If you are unsure, describe the product and what the pack needs to do. Detailed files can be arranged after the initial enquiry.
Film printing questions
Can I order printed film without filling?
Yes. Mention film printing only in your short enquiry. We will ask for your roll-film specification or filling-machine requirements, dimensions, quantity and available artwork by email.
What do you need to quote printed sachet film?
Send the intended product, film structure if known, web width, pack dimensions, print repeat, colours, quantity and artwork status. If you do not yet have a dieline, we can review the packaging specification first.
Is artwork approval the same as a filling trial?
No. Artwork and print proofs cover the agreed printed material. Product compatibility, filling and sealing trials are separate requirements when filling is part of the project.

What changes between sachet formats?
Stick pack
Narrow web, seal area, repeat, tear position and registration requirements are confirmed for the approved machine and film.
Flat sachet
Finished dimensions, seal arrangement, print orientation, safe area and any tear feature depend on the reviewed pack construction.
Twin or perforated format
Connection, perforation, compartment layout and product pairing must be scoped before artwork begins.
Do not place a print order from an unapproved template. SachetsCo confirms the relevant production route and file responsibilities in writing before packaging is ordered.

How the dieline and artwork process works
- Send the project brief. Include product form, target fill, format, volume and timing.
- Complete the suitability review. We assess the likely line, packaging path and trial requirement.
- Confirm the job-specific dieline. We confirm the applicable file for the agreed packaging specification.
- Prepare and preflight artwork. SachetsCo or your designer prepares the agreed artwork for technical review.
- Approve before ordering. Printing starts only after responsibilities, revision and written approval are clear.

Artwork and dieline FAQ
Can I download a generic sachet dieline?
A generic template can create expensive errors. The applicable dieline depends on the approved format, equipment, film and production details, so we issue or confirm it for the reviewed job.
Can my designer start before a line trial?
Concept work can begin, but final artwork should wait until the production route, format and current dieline are confirmed.
Does SachetsCo approve legal label content?
The customer remains responsible for product claims, mandatory statements, barcodes and regulatory content. Our preflight focuses on the agreed packaging and production requirements.
